About Us
Nalanda Bahuuddeshiya Shikshan Sanstha
Nalanda Bahuuddeshiya Shikshan Sanstha is a registered society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, and is a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing the issues affecting communities, with a particular focus on women, children, farmers, youth, and weaker sections of society. We have been working towards empowerment since our establishment in 2004.
Nalanda Bahuuddeshiya Shikshan Sanstha (NBSS) is a non-sectarian movement that unites people for the betterment of society by empowering underprivileged communities through education, healthcare, and livelihood skill training, thus contributing to the transformation of society as a whole.
Our organization, Nalanda Bahuuddeshiya Shikshan Sanstha (NBSS), is committed to promoting economic independence, gender equality, and equal opportunities for all within the rural communities we serve.
Our livelihood skill development program (vocational training program) was initiated on January 26, 2016, to support the integrated development and economic empowerment of underprivileged communities. We consider various complex factors, including social, economic, psychological, and environmental aspects, in our skill development initiatives.
In the years 2013 to 2014, Nalanda Bahuuddeshiya Shikshan Sanstha (NBSS) worked in the field of health and initiated a de-addiction mission program in the Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra, India. Our efforts are deeply rooted in the rural tribal communities of Gadchiroli. We work tirelessly to persuade tribal communities, acting as beacons of hope for those in need. We have actively engaged with struggling women, children, youth, and other vulnerable sections of society, offering them encouragement and support.
Many within these communities face darkness, devoid of hope and support, leading lonely and challenging lives. Nalanda Bahuuddeshiya Shikshan Sanstha takes on the responsibility of caring for these individuals, creating awareness, and striving to bring joy, color, happiness, comfort, and self-reliance into their lives. As a result of our dedication and hard work, the Government of Maharashtra Department of Social Justice recognized our efforts and awarded us the De-addiction Award (Rastrapite Mahatma Gandhi Vyasan Mukti Puraskar) in 2013-2014.
